چکیده
Abstract Background The visual system and its inherent functions undergo experience-dependent changes through the lifespan, enabling acquisition of new skills. Previous fMRI studies using tasks reported increased specialization in a number cortical regions subserving expertise. Although ample focused on representation long-term expertise brain, i.e. terms year, monthly-based early-stage remains unstudied. Given that spontaneous neuronal oscillations actively encode previous experience, we propose brain representations resting state is fundamentally important. Objective current study aimed to investigate how are represented model radiologists. Methods In particular, investigated altered local clustering pattern activity regional homogeneity (ReHo). A cohort group radiology interns (n = 22) after one-month training X-ray department matched laypersons were recruited rigorous behavioral assessment. Results results showed higher ReHo right hippocampus (HIP) ventral anterior temporal lobe (vATL) (corrected by Alphasim correction, P < 0.05). Moreover, HIP correlated with cases reviewed during intern radiologists’ Conclusions sum, our demonstrated early stage more concerned stabilizing feature domain-specific knowledge into memory. provided novel evidence regarding which help further elaborate human acquired. We may provide ideas for developing protocols medical schools.

Specific Resting-State Brain Networks in Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy
We studied with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) differences in resting-state networks between patients with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE) and healthy subjects. To avoid any a priori hypothesis, we use a data-driven analysis assessing differences between groups independently of structures involved. Shared and specific independent component analysis (SSICA) is an exploratory m...
متن کاملEEG Coherence During Resting State Over Frontal Regions in Paranormal Beliefs
Introduction: Paranormal beliefs are defined as believing in extrasensory perception, precognition, witchcraft, and telekinesis, magical thinking, psychokinesis, superstitions. Previous studies corroborate that executive brain functions underpin paranormal beliefs. To test causal hypotheses, neurophysiological studies of brain activity are required. Method: A sample of 20 students (10 females,...
متن کاملEmotion Processing in Patients with Early- and Late-Onset Temporal Lobe Epilepsy
Objective: Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE) can contribute to various emotional symptoms by damaging the temporal lobe. This study aimed at investigating emotion processing in patients with early- and late-onset TLE compared to a healthy group. Methods: In this causal-comparative study, 60 patients with diagnosed TLE were compared to 60 healthy controls to identify emotion processing styles. The d...
متن کاملInfluence of Resting-State Network on Lateralization of Functional Connectivity in Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Although most studies on epilepsy have focused on the epileptogenic zone, epilepsy is a system-level disease characterized by aberrant neuronal synchronization among groups of neurons. Increasingly, studies have indicated that mesial temporal lobe epilepsy may be a network-level disease; however, few investigations have examined resting-state functional connectivity of th...
متن کاملRole of resting state functional connectivity MRI in presurgical investigation of mesial temporal lobe epilepsy.
OBJECTIVE The authors aimed to determine the ability of resting-state functional connectivity MRI (fcMRI) to lateralise/localise the epileptogenic zone in patients presenting with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE) at the individual level. METHODS Basal functional connectivity (BFC) was evaluated in each hemisphere of 22 MTLE patients. 200 volumes were acquired using a single-shot GE-EPI se...
